Control measurement: It means to determine the plane position and elevation of a series of control points in the measurement area according to the accuracy required by the measurement task, and establish the measurement control network as the basis of various measurements.
The control network has the function of controlling the whole world and limiting the accumulation of measurement errors, which is the basis of each measurement work. For topographic mapping, rank control is the basis of extended map root control, so as to ensure that the topographic maps can be combined into a whole. For engineering survey, it is often necessary to set up a special control network as the basis for construction lofting and deformation observation.
In the engineering construction area, the horizontal position and elevation of a series of control points are measured with the necessary accuracy, and the engineering control network is established as the basis of topographic survey and engineering survey. This survey work is called control survey.
Engineering control network is divided into two parts: plane control network and elevation control network. The former is to measure the plane cartesian coordinates of control points, and the latter is to measure the elevation of control points.
The specific tasks of control survey in the three stages of engineering construction are as follows: in the survey and design stage to establish a mapping control network, as a basis for various large scale mapping; The construction control network is set up in the construction stage as the basis of construction lofting measurement. In operation stage, the deformation observation control network is established as the basis for deformation observation of engineering buildings.
The control effect of control survey on surveying and mapping topographic map is as follows: topographic map is segmentation surveying and mapping, which requires that each topographic map measured and produced must be integrated into a whole without loopholes, overlap and distortion, and have the same accuracy. If a unified plane control network is established in the construction area, and the Gaussian plane cartesian coordinates of each control point in the network are precisely measured, the position of each map can be accurately found on the field, so that when the map is measured independently, there will be no loopholes, overlapping and distortion between the adjacent map. Because of the high precision of the measured control points, the measurement error of the plane position of each topographic map will be limited by the control points and will not accumulate to a large extent, so as to ensure that the plane position of each map has the same mapping accuracy. Therefore, the plane position of the two adjacent topographic maps can be connected to each other within the mapping accuracy.
